Kazinform reported that the groundbreaking ceremony and laying of a time capsule containing a message to the future staff of the CICA Secretariat took place on June 26.

“I hope that in 25 years, our colleagues will open this capsule and read about our organization today – it is progressing and demonstrating significant growth. I think that in 25 years our followers will be able to write their message for the next 25 years and this baton will be passed on from generation to generation. We strive for the CICA process to have far-reaching results, as the role of the organization today is significantly increasing,” said CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybai.

He also noted Kazakhstan’s significant activity in transforming the CICA into an international organization, emphasizing the need for consistent development of the association by increasing the efficiency of the permanent structures and expanding geography and external relations.

The building will consist of four floors with a total area of 4,000 square meters. Its main advantage is its multifunctional hall. It will gather governing and advisory bodies and host conferences, seminars, and training processes. The building will also be equipped with modern environmental technologies.
