The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently signed a memorandum on cooperation in the veterinary field.
According to the statement made by representatives of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture, the document is intended to give new impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. For example, the Arab side will open up new possibilities for Kazakhstan’s live animal export trade as well as for export of animal products and fodder.
From the Kazakh side, the memorandum was signed by Chairman of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision Saktash Khasenov. The Arabic delegation has been represented by Deputy Prime Minister of Environment and Water Resources Sultan Abdullah Sultan.
The signing of the memorandum concluded a visit to Kazakhstan by a UAE delegation, which visited livestock farms to learn about the Kazakh livestock sector.
