The flag-raising ceremony continued with a concert featuring renowned Kazakh pop artists.
The Kazakh capital organized over 200 cultural, educational, sports, and social events to celebrate Republic Day.
On the previous day, a grand show took place on the stage of the Barys Arena palace to mark the 25th anniversary of the legendary ethno-rock group Ulytau. The concert involved a mesmerizing collaboration between the ethno-rock group and beloved artists, resulting in a unique fusion of ethno-rock melodies with cherished songs.

Concerts were held not only in city educational, cultural, and sports institutions but also in residential areas of the city’s five districts. Starting at noon, each of the five districts hosted concert programs featuring creative groups and performers.
On the eve of the Republic Day celebrations, residents of the capital launched a mass challenge, with over 1,000 flags adorning windows, balconies and streets.
