Some Kazakh Army sergeants will be trained as combat instructors, reported the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Defence. For this purpose, each battalion of military units of the Armed Forces has selected the most experienced soldiers, totalling 140 people.
During courses, future instructors are trained to use light and small arms, grenade launchers and hand grenades, as well as go through physical training, lessons on military topography, engineering and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence. They also learn to manage the daily activities of troops and secure military service. Before the beginning of the course, all instructors, regardless of their delegated disciplines, attend special methodological trainings, during which they receive the basics of their future work as instructors.
The teaching methodology embraces local and foreign experience. Apart from officers and non-commissioned officers of the Cadet Corps, Land Forces and Sports Committee, experts from American training centres have been involved as part of the joint international training course for Kazakh instructors.
Both candidates and trainers have been thoroughly selected before each stage of the training. The emphasis was placed on professionalism, rich military experience and the presence of methodological skills to train personnel.
The training programme for combat instructors will enhance the quality and effectiveness of individual trainings, improve the process of organising and conducting combat trainings, establish united methodological system and increase the interest of the military personnel to develop their professional skills.
