ASTANA – Kazakhstan reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation with China, the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia during separate meetings between Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi and the countries’ ambassadors on Sept. 17.

With Kyrgyz Ambassador Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, Tileuberdi discussed political, trade and economic, water and energy, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening allied relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues, reported the ministry’s press service.
During talks with Chinese Ambassador Han Chunlin, the officials focused on implementing agreements reached by the leaders of Kazakhstan and China and preparing for upcoming high-level bilateral and multilateral events.
Tileuberdi and Russian Ambassador Alexey Borodavkin discussed bilateral cooperation, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest levels, and the schedule of upcoming mutual visits and joint events.
The meeting participants also exchanged views on regional and international developments and cooperation within multilateral formats.
