Almaty’s Kairat defeated Aktobe 4:1 on Nov. 22 to claim the Kazakh Football Cup in Astana Arena.
Aktobe scored first in the 19th minute, but Kairat’s Yury Logvinenko tied the score in the 29th minute.
One minute later, Kairat took the lead with a goal by Cote d’Ivoire’s Gerard Gohou. Almaty appeared to score another goal in the first half, but it was taken away because it was shot from an offside position.
In the second half, Gohou scored again and Aktobe was down by two. That was followed by another Kairat goal in the 85th minute by Aslan Darabayev.
Inthe 89th minute, Spanish forward Llorenç ‘Sito’ Riera Ortega was shown a red card by the referee and ejected from the game. But Aktobe was down 4-1 by then and the referee gave the last three-time whistle to stop the game in the 92nd minute.
