“History is shaped not by time itself, but by strategic decisions made at the right moment. Today’s presidential address is proof of this. It takes into account both the interests of the state and concern for the well-being of the people,” Karin wrote on his Instagram.
He emphasized the strategic importance of Tokayev’s priorities, which aim to advance the country’s development.
In his address, Tokayev identified key areas for the country’s further development, with particular attention to strengthening sovereignty and domestic stability, developing the economy, and advancing science and modern technologies.
He also called for large-scale modernization of Kazakhstan’s infrastructure, allocating 6.5 trillion tenge (US$14.3 billion) to the initiative by the end of 2029.
Economic development was another major focus of the address. Tokayev called for a unified investment management system and instructed the government to develop a dedicated plan to support medium-sized businesses.
President Tokayev also outlined Kazakhstan’s strategic objectives for its next stage of development, emphasizing the responsibility to pass on a fundamentally renewed country to future generations.
