ASTANA – Anticipating Astana EXPO 2017, the Kazakh TV channel has launched a series of TV programmes with the participation of the national EXPO 2017 commissioners from different countries, who discuss the preparation, construction, concept and content of their national pavilions, as well as the latest developments and advances in the use of clean and alternative energy sources.
The first programmes were devoted to the national pavilions of Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Vietnam.
The Swiss exhibition called Flower Power aims to show the beauty and majesty of the Swiss landscape. In addition, the creators of the TV programme note that special attention in the national pavilion of Switzerland will be given to the exhibition of scientific laboratories and companies. It is expected that Glass 2 Energy and CSCM will show the most interesting technologies of synthesised solar cells. ABB company will showcase its own exhibition of electricity production and SICPA will manufacture security ink. It is expected that the Swissnex laboratory will be very popular in the Swiss pavilion. Also, the Swiss pavilion will provide a culinary show with traditional Swiss dishes.
The central theme of the Czech national pavilion will be non-standard solutions for environmental problems. The introduction of green technologies into all spheres of life is a priority for the country, which does not have a large territory or rich resources. The Czech exhibition will be called Ingenious Solution. It is planned that not only exhibits, which will be presented at the exhibition by the Czech side, but also the exhibition pavilion, which will consist of several scientific and technical zones, will be different. To date, it is known that several large Czech companies, known far beyond the borders of the state, will present their achievements in the field of electric power and green technologies. The Czech delegation is going to surprise visitors with its cuisine. The Czech Republic is famous for its amber drink and it will be offered on the day of national culture.
The main idea of the pavilion of Vietnam is attracting the attention of visitors to the natural riches, beauty and traditional culture of the country. The national pavilion of Vietnam will show the latest technologies in wind energy production. Vietnam plans to attract visitors to the pavilion with folklore songs and traditional shows. The water puppet show is a traditional show, created in the 11th century. Today’s Vietnamese puppet theatre is a unique variation of the ancient Asian puppet tradition. The Vietnamese pavilion will offer Vietnamese noodles and spring rolls.
