Children were greeted with funny memes accompanied by a magic bubble show; later, they worked on art projects and were treated to a children’s buffet, courtesy of the hotel.

Under the supervision of well-known designer Ayazhan Zhaksybai, who represents Kazakhstan’s fashion industry around the world, children had the chance to draw a dream dress, and with the Marriott’s chef, they tried creating original pizza recipes. They also learned the secrets of professional photography with photographer Sergei Monko and got to create further with director Nursulu Zhaksybai.
Russian iconic singer Iosif Kobzon, delegates of the World Forum of Spiritual Culture, leaders of creative workshops and volunteers attended the event with one priority – to devote time to children with disabilities. Forum delegates talked to the children, sharing their knowledge of the world, spirituality and creativity.

Restriction of social contacts can cause isolation and psychological insecurity, while related defensive responses can cause children to become reserved. Creative processes may help children express themselves openly, learn to speak to the world using new tools and transform the space around with the help of specific skills, say experts.

Among the event’s organisers were the AIKA ALEMI FUND to support the arts and the Best for Kids Public Foundation with the support of the Astana Marriott hotel, the Peace through Culture International Association, the children’s party agency Podkova and the Pravo Fund.
