ASTANA – Gabidulla Ospankulov, chairman of the Investment Committee of Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry, and Marat Birimzhan, overseas representative of Kazakh Invest national company, met with leadership from major U.S. companies to discuss investment opportunities, technology exchange, and local production in Kazakhstan, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 12.

Key meetings included discussions at the Honeywell Technology Experience Center, where both sides explored solutions in industrial automation, sustainable aviation fuel production, and digital manufacturing.
Negotiations with Archer Daniels Midland focused on expanding agribusiness cooperation, emphasizing grain processing and vegetable oil production in Kazakhstan. The delegation also discussed opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector with Pfizer, focusing on biotechnology and pharmaceutical local output.
Talks with Leidos centered on technological solutions for transport systems, infrastructure security, and advanced cybersecurity. A meeting with Xylem focused on improving Kazakhstan’s water infrastructure through innovative purification systems and water quality monitoring technologies.
Ospankulov emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to enhancing investment partnerships with U.S. companies and offering favorable local production and technological cooperation conditions.
