BREAKING NEWS – Yellow Level of Terrorist Alert Introduced in Kazakhstan

ASTANA – Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee introduces “yellow” level of terrorist alert across much of the country on June 6, one day after multiple firefights in the western city of Aktobe left six people dead and around two dozens wounded.

The yellow level means there’s information about potential attacks that needs to be verified. It also means a set of measures that security, law enforcement and emergency response agencies need to implement to increase their readiness.
