“This is quite a successful and efficient event. We meet a considerable amount of our clients from Almaty and other cities of Kazakhstan exactly here,” said Garo Suzmeyan, representative of a Turkish company. “Our clients come to visit the company’s stand two times a year, resolve business issues, make an order or preorder of a collection. Fashionable orders and cat walking, which improve every year and attract the interest of visitors, provide a special mission for our work with our contracting authority.”

Central Asia Fashion Spring is one of the most influential and successful fashion exhibitions in our region. The event recommends itself as the only specialised event on Kazakhstan’s fashion retail market to which reputable leaders and beginning players of this market show an interest. Central Asia Fashion Spring participants have an opportunity to announce about their product and show it to a professional audience.

The exhibition serves as a platform for discussing the most topical issues of the fashion industry, the establishment of business relations and the introduction of best business resolutions. Clothing manufacturers, both renowned and beginners, participate every year. Buyers, designers, distributors, wholesalers, owners and fashion business holders from all countries of Central Asia, including Kazakhstan are the exhibition’s main visitors.

Miss Kazakhstan 2015 Aliya Mergembayeva was a special guest of the exhibition and took part in its ceremonial opening.

Men, women and children’s clothing, shoes, accessories and fur products of the Winter-Fall 2016/2017 season were shown at the fashion exhibitions.

“The participation programme of German companies in Central Asia fashion [industry] is supported by the government,” Renate Schimkoreit, consul general of Germany in Almaty noted. “This indicates that German companies have a big interest in Kazakhstan’s fashion market and we hope that in the future this will lead to a new productive stage in developing partner relations between our countries.”

Worldwide known Carlin International Groupe (France) participated in the exhibition for the first time. In forecasting fashion trends, its experts discussed fashionable trends for the next two years, new expectations and the mood of buyers and detailed forecasts on silhouettes, prints and fabrics for the 2017 spring-summer season.

“France participates in exhibitions held in Kazakhstan always with big pleasure. A promising market of your country not for the first year demonstrates high tempos of growth and presents a big interest for foreign investors,” stressed Fabris Raul, representative of Didier Parakian French brand. “Participating in this fashion exhibition allows us to examine demand on import products in Kazakhstan and the whole Central Asian region in more detail, establish useful contacts not only with local businessmen but also with representatives of other foreign companies.”
