The group of Kazakh performers began their tour across Turkey from Eskisehir, which was a cultural capital of the Turkic speaking world of 2013.
Tulegenova and the Tattimbet Academic Orchestra performed in a concert hall at Anadolu University, Eskisehir’s largest university, and received high praise from the Turkish audience.
The event was attended by Governor of the Province Güngör Azim Tuna, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Secretary General of the international organisation of Turkic Culture TURKSOY Dyussen Kasseinov, prominent political, business and cultural figures of Turkey, as well as Kazakh students and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in Turkey.
At the end of the concert, Tuna noted that the Week of Kazakh Culture in Turkey would deepen Kazakh-Turkish cooperation in culture and art.
“Once again I became convinced that Kazakhstan makes a great contribution to the cultural and humanitarian heritage of mankind,” Tuna said.
