The office aims to promote Kazakh products in Türkiye and expand export opportunities for local businesses. It will connect Kazakh manufacturers with Turkish companies, allowing potential buyers and distributors to view product samples, learn about producers, hold negotiations and establish direct business contacts.

The initiative is another step toward strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries. The expansion of bilateral trade and investment was also discussed during a meeting between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara on Oct. 28.

The opening comes as bilateral trade continues to grow. From January to September 2026, trade between Kazakhstan and Türkiye increased 62.1% from the same period last year, reaching $6.33 billion. Kazakh exports rose 91% to $5.3 billion, while imports from Türkiye totaled $1.03 billion. Türkiye is Kazakhstan’s fourth-largest trading partner by trade volume.

Yenisan Companies Group is QazTrade’s partner in the project. The Turkish company provided the office and exhibition space and will help connect Kazakh businesses with local companies and support joint initiatives.

The office features meeting rooms and a permanent showroom displaying products from Kazakh manufacturers. The selection includes flour, pasta, cereals, rice, lentils, peas, sunflower and flaxseed oil, powdered milk, camel milk products, traditional dairy products, honey, jam, confectionery, chocolate, beverages, syrups and tea, as well as clothing and accessories.

The exhibition showcases the potential of Kazakhstan’s food and light manufacturing industries.

The office will also explore opportunities beyond Türkiye. QazTrade and Yenisan Companies Group are considering ways to supply Kazakh products to Syria, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. Their plans include developing warehouse and terminal infrastructure, attracting investment and introducing new technologies.

One potential project is a logistics and warehouse complex to support exports. It could simplify the storage and distribution of goods, expand logistics options for Kazakh companies and make it easier for them to access markets across the region.
