ASTANA – Kazakh footballer Karim Mendikanov, 15, has signed with Barcelona and will join one of the club’s youth teams next season.

The news was announced by his mother, Albina Mendikanova. She confirmed that the transfer agreement has already been finalized, Kazinform reported on April 1.
Mendikanov previously played for Spanish club Cerdanyola and currently plays for Sant Cugat, where he attracted the attention of Barcelona scouts this season.
